From North Dakota Department of Agriculture Specialty Crops: In anticipation of the 2018 Specialty Crop Block Grant, North Dakota is starting the grant process. The first step is to determine funding priorities.
To help us understand what the biggest specialty crop priorities are in North Dakota, we are conducting a survey. This survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and will help us with the upcoming grant cycle in North Dakota. The survey can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8L7769Y
Specialty crops are defined as “fruits and vegetables, tree nuts, dried fruits, horticulture, and nursery crops (including floriculture).” Eligible plants must be intensively cultivated and used by people for food, medicinal purposes, and/or aesthetic gratification to be considered specialty crops. Eligible applicants will need to describe how the project affects and produces measurable outcomes for the specialty crop industry rather than a single organization, institution, or individual.
Please take a moment to complete the survey above or forward along to those that would be interested.
