Password requirements change Monday, Feb. 5

We hear you, UND! No more trying to come up with a new password every 90 days!

After Feb. 5, you will only have to change your North Dakota University System (NDUS) password one more time. There are a few more rules for creating a NDUS password, but the password creation tool will help you.

And, those pesky security questions that you can’t remember? Those are gone too! Instead, you will enter an alternate email address or use Google Authenticator–the same as you already do for your social media.

Failed log-ins will follow the 10-10-10 rule. That means if you enter the wrong login info 10 times in 10 minutes, your account will be locked for 10 minutes.

You can only reset your NDUS password once a day. Passwords reset by a Help Desk will expire in three days, so you will need to reset your password in that time. You can change your NDUS password here:
