The Teaching Transformation and Development Academy invites applications for two faculty fellow positions to advance curricular, instructional, and co-curricular activities in alignment with the UND Strategic Plan. These positions are made possible with the support from the Vice President for Student Affairs and Diversity.
Faculty Fellow for Inclusive Excellence in Essential Studies: 30%, fall 2018 – spring 2019 (renewable for Fall 2019 contingent on satisfactory performance and need)
Description of duties: This position will facilitate instructional improvements related to courses within the Essential Studies program focused on the learning goal of Intercultural Knowledge and Skills given the updated requirements which will go into effect in Fall 2020.
Faculty Fellow for Inclusive Excellence, 40%, (renewable contingent on satisfactory performance), fall 2018 – spring 2019
Description of duties: This position will plan, schedule, and conduct faculty and staff development around inclusivity and inclusive excellence in the workplace; use institutional data to ensure equity in student success through instructional innovations.
Faculty fellows’ position descriptions will be adjusted to reflect the percentages above in consultation with the department chair and with support from the dean. Faculty members with expertise in diversity and inclusion, strong leadership skills, a commitment to collaboration, ability to work effectively in teams, and strong communication skills are encouraged to send a letter of interest with an email of support from one’s department chair noting dean’s approval to Katrina Kriewall (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2018.
