Jenni Monet will present this year’s Hagerty Lecture Thursday, April 19, 1:00-1:45 p.m. in the Ballroom at the Memorial Union. The lecture is free and open to all.
The Hagerty lecture series is named for the late Jack Hagerty, longtime editor of the Grand Forks Herald. When Hagerty retired in 1984, the Herald established the lectureship through an endowment to the Department of Communication at the University of North Dakota.
Hagerty was the husband of Marilyn Hagerty, the Herald’s food writer, whose reviews have been an internet sensation.
