April 30: Engineering & Mines design expo
The campus and Grand Forks communities are invited to attend the 9th annual College of Engineering & Mines Design Exposition in the Memorial Union Ballroom, Monday, April 30, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
More than 90 student design projects from across the College of Engineering and Mines will be on display. Students will be there to answer questions and discuss their projects.
Please plan to stop and see our students’ solutions to challenges in material production, manufacturing, energy, unmanned aircraft, oil recovery, communications and much more. You will see a room full of innovation!
The event is being presented this year by ComDel Innovation. Representatives from ComDel Innovation will be on campus to will judge and present the ComDel Innovation Outstanding Senior Prototype Design and the ComDel Innovation Outstanding Senior Process Design awards. A short awards ceremony will be held at 3:15 p.m. Attendees can also vote for their favorite projects in three additional categories and those awards will be announced later in the week.
