Commencement ceremonies set for this weekend

More than 2,000 graduates are eligible to walk across the stage at the 2018 Spring Commencement ceremonies at the University of North Dakota. The schedule and information for these ceremonies this weekend are:

Saturday, May 12, 9 a.m. (CT) at the Alerus Center: Graduate and Doctorate Degree Ceremony

Nearly 500 students are eligible to walk for this Saturday’s Graduate and Doctorate Degree Ceremony. This event will include the conferring of UND’s first-ever Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering. A livestream of the ceremony will be available on UND’s Facebook Page via Facebook Live and on UND’s YouTube page. The video will also be available following the ceremony on UND’s Vimeo via this direct link.

The livestream of this Saturday’s events will also include a video, “Celebrate Achievement”, between the day’s two ceremonies, airing at 12:30 p.m. (CT). “Celebrate Achievement” features live interviews with students, a concert by the UND Wind Ensemble and videos about the University of North Dakota. The video will be available via this direct link after the ceremonies.

Saturday, May 12, 1:30 p.m. (CT) at the Alerus Center: Undergraduate Degree Ceremony

Nearly 1,400 students are eligible to walk for this Saturday’s Undergraduate Degree Ceremony. A livestream of the ceremony will be available on UND’s Facebook Page via Facebook Live and on UND’s YouTube page. The video will also be available following the ceremony on UND’s Vimeo via this direct link.

Sunday, May 13, 2:30 p.m. (CT) at the Chester Fritz Auditorium: School of Medicine & Health Sciences Degree Ceremony

Nearly 70 students are eligible to walk for this Sunday’s School of Medicine & Health Sciences Degree Ceremony. This ceremony consists of the conferring of Medical Doctorate degrees.
