June 10: Tea & Roses at the Myra Museum

With all the hullabaloo surrounding the next royal wedding, we’re feeling in need of a tea party!

The Myra Museum and the Greater Grand Forks Community Theatre are partnering for this special fun-raiser June 10 at the historic Myra Museum.

You’ll enjoy hot or cold tea, sandwiches, fresh fruit, and scones in the historic buildings at the Museum. Dine in a Victorian parlor, the first post office in Grand Forks, or a 1950s home.  Adults are invited to reserve for the first seating, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.and adults with children are invited to reserve for the 2-3 p.m. tea party in the beautiful gazebo.

Children will also be introduced to games from different eras. Cost is $15 per person and proceeds will be divided between the Myra Museum and the Community Theatre.  Reserve by calling 777-4090.

*If you love to collect tea cups and pots, you might want to host a table for your friends.  Hosts receive a free ticket and may win a season ticket to the Fire Hall Theater for the best table setting.
