May 10: Corporate forum highlights change management in three local industries

Business leaders from three Grand Forks region industries will share how they are adapting to change in order to grow with technology, innovation, and opportunity advancements at the Change Management Corporate Forum from 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10, UND Gorecki Alumni Center.

The event, cohosted by the UND Division of Research & Economic Development and the Grand Forks Region EDC, is free and open to the public. Registration is requested. For more information or to register, visit www.grandforks.org or call 746.2720.

The afternoon will feature local panelists in three sessions to discuss changes in their respective industries, opening with agriculture, followed by manufacturing, and closing with unmanned autonomous systems.

“We hope natural connections between industry and the university are made that lead to new collaborative opportunities,” said EDC President & CEO Keith Lund.

“This is the first in a series intended to bring together the business community. It’s a unique opportunity to learn from each other, examine approaches to managing change, and strengthen partnerships,” said Grant McGimpsey, UND’s vice president for research & economic development.
