July 26: Love Boat set to sail as fun-raiser for Fire Hall Theatre

The Fire Hall Theater, home to the Greater Grand Forks Community Theatre, is hosting its Fifth annual Firemen’s Ball. This year’s ball will take place on “The Love Boat” July 26. No Dramamine required as you’ll only leave the Masonic Center (423 Bruce Ave.) in your imagination.

The Captain, played by Terry Dullum, will greet you at 6 p.m. at the door. You’ll board and meet your personal porter, be shown to your table and informed of the variety of happenings on board the S.S. Fire Hall.

There will be a delicious Caribbean-inspired buffet, delicious desserts, cash bar, dancing to tunes spun by Lori Barrett of Bear Kat Karaoke, and live lounge acts performed by Janessa Jaye Champagne, David Watnemoe, Mark Diers, Brenna Skallet, Olga Kopp, Amy Driscoll, Amy Lyste, Ruth Pederson, as well as optional “land excursions” that involve the talents of Casey Paradies, Patrick Pearson, Mare Thompson, Patrick DeMars, and Paul Tandberg.  Be prepared to have a great trip on July 26th!

You must book your passage by the July 23, however. Tickets are $59 and $50 each when booking a table for 8.  Every ticket holder is eligible for a drawing of $1,000 cash the evening of the ball!   Call 777-4090 for tickets.
