State fleet requires all state vehicle drivers to complete forms

In an effort to educate and make employees more aware of State Fleet policies, North Dakota State Fleet requires each vehicle user to complete SFN61420, State Fleet Driver Agreement, before operating a state vehicle.  The form only needs to be filled out once during a driver’s employment with the state.  All drivers must be aware of all North Dakota traffic laws and regulations governing the operation of motor vehicles and the State Fleet policy prior to driving a state vehicle.

All current employees must complete the form no later than Aug. 15, 2018.  It is recommended that you have new hires complete this form during the new hire process. If the form is not completed by the deadline, the driver’s ability to drive a State Fleet vehicle will be suspended until the form has been submitted to State Fleet.

Here is the process:

The forms will be verified and entered into FileNet and kept for the duration of the employee’s employment.   A vehicle cannot be released to an employee until the information is verified into FileNet, which could take up to two business days. New hires will not be given a driver ID until the form has been completed.
