Sept. 15: Be part of the 1st World Peace Pageant

The Greater Grand Forks Community Theatre is seeking up to 50 actors, including youth, adults, and families, to perform as in the World Peace Pageant, part of the Greenway Takeover Festival on Sept. 15, hosted by HB Sound & Light.

Be part of this unique event that celebrates our shared humanity.

Our motto: We are many, and we are ONE.
We have partnered with 16 different local businesses and organizations and seven local artists. More than 130 volunteers have created 50 paper mache masks and now we need actors to wear them in the show, which includes a 1 1/2 story puppet.

Sign up by emailing us at info@ggfct.com with your name and t-shirt size (all actors receive a free World Peace Pageant original shirt to wear in the performance).

Partners:  American Indian Center – UND, Archives Coffee House, Art for Vets, ArtWise, GF Boy Scout Troop 130, Central H.S. Drumline, English Language Learners – UND, Flint Group, Global Friends, Grand Forks Park District, LISTEN Drop-in Day Center, Sleep Center – Conlin’s, SPA-ELL, and artists: Mary Bauer, Pirjo Berg, Terri Berg, Martha Keifenheim, Amy Jo Lyste, Kim Forness Wilson, and Shelia Liming on bagpipes. Supported in part by grants from the City of GF – Arts Re-grant, Community Foundation of GF and EGF, and the Myra Foundation.

The performance is a free event, perfect for all ages.
