Sept. 17: Stanford prof will discuss stagnant wages and the financial crisis in two talks

The Department of Economics & Finance is pleased to host Bob Hall, Robert and Carole McNeil Joint Hoover Senior Fellow and Professor of Economics, Stanford University, (https://web.stanford.edu/~rehall/) on Monday, Sept. 17.

He will give two lectures.

He will present “The Macroeconomics of the Financial Crisis and Its Aftermath: The Role of the Collapse and Restoration of Confidence” from 11 a.m. to noon in 283 Gamble Hall.

As part of the Korus Distinguished Lectureship Series, he will discuss “The Bad News about Stagnant Wages, and How to Improve Wage Growth” from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Gorecki Alumni Center’s Gransberg Community Room, 3501 University Ave. Refreshments will be provided.

The lectures are free and open to the public.
