University Senate elects 2018-19 leadership

Jeff VanLooy (Earth Systems Science & Policy) was elected the 2018-20 Vice Chair/Chair Elect of the University Senate at that body’s Sept. 6 meeting.  Paul Todhunter (Geography) is the 2018-19 University Senate Chair.

Caroline Campbell (College of Arts & Sciences) was elected to a two-year term as faculty representative on the Senate Executive Committee. Tyler Clauson (Human Resources) was elected to a one-year term as Staff Senate representative and Erik Hanson (Student Body President) was elected to a one-year term as student representative on the Senate Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee, which establishes the agenda for meetings of the University Senate and acts in the Senate’s place when necessary between Senate meetings, also includes Senate Chair Paul Todhunter; Senate Vice Chair/Chair Elect Jeff VanLooy; Senate immediate past chair Nancy Vogeltanz-Holm; Faculty Representative Mark Jendrysik; Senate Secretary Scott Correll; Council of College Faculties representative Eric Murphy; and Provost Tom DiLorenzo.
