The Essential Studies Office will once again host the UNDergraduate Showcase, to be held on Thursday, Dec. 6, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Memorial Union Ballroom.
The Showcase is an opportunity for undergraduates from across campus to showcase scholarly work of any type. Posters are the most common type of presentation, but other possibilities can be accommodated — and in the past have included works of art, musical performances, videos, and design projects. Faculty should consider encouraging their students to be involved. And even if not presenting, all are welcome to view the presentations and to interact with the student presenters. The event is most vibrant when students are able to interact meaningfully with audience members, and thus the more who attend in any capacity, the better.
Questions about how to become involved should be directed to Ryan Zerr at firstname.lastname@example.org.
