March 26-27: Academic Affairs hosts promotion and tenure information session

The Office of Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs will be providing two information sessions on the annual promotion and tenure process for faculty, department chairs, and promotion-and-tenure committee members. Katherine Terras, university committee chair of promotion and tenure and Donna K. Pearson, assistant provost, will facilitate the discussion.

Faculty candidates for promotion and/or tenure in 2019-2020, individuals involved with advising and assisting faculty in the process of dossier preparation or assembly, or those who will review and evaluate promotion and/or tenure dossiers, are encouraged to attend one of the sessions.  The information sessions will provide an overview of the promotion and tenure process, explain how to assemble promotion and/or tenure packets and dossiers, and tips for listing publications.

The sessions are scheduled as follows:

• Tuesday, March 26, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m., Education Room 16
• Wednesday, March 27, 3 – 4 p.m., Education Room 16
