UND's faculty and staff newsletter

Help congratulate UND’s newest graduates!

Ceremony assistants for UND’s upcoming Spring Commencement ceremonies are essential in the coordination and production of graduation to help make a memorable experience for graduates and their guests.

All UND faculty and staff are invited to participate in one of the most important days in the lives of the next class of UND alumni. Serving as a ceremony assistant is a great way to show your support for our graduates and to help make their celebration memorable.

Assistants help with the following:

·         Check in assistants and marshals
·         Distribute programs to graduates in line-up room
·         Assist graduates with regalia (arrange hoods, tassel placement, etc.) in line-up room – Grad ceremony only
·         Assist platform group with regalia (arrange hoods, etc.) & assist with line-up
·         Assist faculty with regalia (arrange hoods, etc.)
·         Lobby greeters to greet guests and graduates
·         Assist guests with special accommodation seating
·         Greeters who direct graduates and faculty to appropriate line-up areas and guests to seating
·         Usher/greeters – greet guests and pass out programs
