Presidential Search Committee meets Oct. 2

The Presidential Search Committee will meet Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 1:30 p.m. CT on the University of North Dakota Campus, in EERC, in the East half of Discovery Hall, 15 North 23rd Street, Grand Forks.

The agenda follows.

1. Call to order (Co-Chairs Drs. Casey Ryan and Dennis Elbert)

2. Approve August 21, 2019 meeting minutes

3. Move to enter executive session to consider applications for the University of North Dakota presidency. The executive session shall be limited to members of the search committee, AGB Consultants, NDUS office staff, and NDUS legal counsel. The legal authority for closing this portion of the meeting is North Dakota Century Code sections 44-04-18.27 and 44-04-19.2.

4. Reconvene to take action regarding the next round of interviews scheduled for Oct. 22-23, to be conducted via technology.

5. Review next steps in process (James McCormick and Janice Fitzgerald, search consultants), including reference checking process and interview question development.

6. Committee questions.
