Lotus Meditation Center lists events

The Lotus Meditation will hold a retreat and free presentations Oct. 18-20.

Friday, Oct. 18, 7 – 8:30 p.m.

Are your expectations about “how things should be” getting in the way of your happiness? Join us for a free presentation titled “Releasing the Heart through Letting Go of Views” by Bridget Rolens, MA in Theology, BS in Occupational Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher, sponsored by Lotus Meditation Center.  Bridget will stay the weekend to offer a non-residential retreat and you may register that evening.

Saturday, Oct. 19 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 20, 9 a.m-1 p.m.

“Releasing the Heart through Letting Go of Views” will also be the focus of a non-residential retreat that began Friday evening, sponsored by Lotus Meditation Center. The retreat will be led by Bridget Rolens, . The cost of the retreat is $100, with scholarships available. Donations to our teacher are also encouraged.

Sunday, Oct. 20, 10:30 a.m.

Join us for a free talk entitled “Letting Go of Views That Cause Unhappiness” by Bridget Rolens. Free vegetarian meal after talk.
