Deadline for Glassheim Essay scholarship contest is March 1

Faculty are asked to remind students that the deadline is March 1 for the Eliot Glassheim Essay Award on Capitalism and the Common Good.

It is a $750 award based on an essay contest. Most of the entries are from people who do not put their heart into the essay. So, if students take it seriously and write a good one, their chances of winning are very high.
