Online Defensive Driving course is now available

The North Dakota Department of Transportation’s Fleet Services requires those who operate fleet vehicles, on at least a monthly basis, to take the National Safety Council Defensive Driving Course as soon as practical after accepting employment and every four years thereafter. Training for those who operate fleet vehicles less than monthly is at the discretion of the operator’s supervisor.

NDUS Online Defensive Driving Class is again offered for all University employees.

To register for the online course, contact Tearnie Hull at tearnie.braaten@UND.edu with your legal name, department, EMPLID, and contact information.

Note that this training is equivalent to a four-hour instructor-led class, and therefore, it is suggested that you devote some time to work on this training.  To complete the course, you must score 80 percent or better on the final exam at the end. The exam can be retaken until a passing grade is achieved.
