Procurement and Payments Services lifts restrictions on purchase of disinfectant products and trip insurance

Due to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Office of Procurement and Payment Services has released the restrictions on the purchasing of disinfectant products, such as hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and disinfectant spray. These purchases must be for office use only. Please be aware of potential price gouging which has been identified on major Internet shopping sites. If possible, make purchases locally or through reputable vendors.

The restriction on the purchase of trip insurance has also been lifted at this time, but will require a legitimate business purpose, as well as preapproval by your supervisor. Please ensure travel insurance will provide appropriate coverage for associated expenses and be aware of any exclusions which may apply.
