Student Health Services Pharmacy will close July 24

Due to current fiscal challenges, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close the UND Student Health Pharmacy, with the last day of business on July 24. Students are welcome to fill prescriptions up through that date.

In order to ensure continuity of care, prescriptions with remaining refills will be transferred to  Altru Family Medicine Residency Pharmacy and available beginning July 27. The Altru Family Medicine Residency Pharmacy is conveniently located next to the UND Bookstore at 725 Hamline Street, Grand Forks, ND, 58203, 701.780.6870.

The Grand Forks area has numerous pharmacies ready to assist. New prescriptions, or refills of current prescriptions, may be obtained at a pharmacy of choice. After July 27, those who wish to have prescription(s) refilled at a pharmacy other than Altru Family Medicine Residency Pharmacy, may ask their pharmacy to call 701.780.6870 to request a prescription transfer.

Previous prescriptions records will be securely stored at UND Student Health Services.

For questions, please call Student Health Pharmacy at 701.777.3965 until July 24. After that, questions may be directed to Student Health Services at 701.777.4500.

I want to assure you that our commitment to student health care has not wavered. Student Health Services will continue to be an on-campus medical and mental health clinic, providing a range of services from physical exams and allergy/flu shots to lab and X-ray services.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve you.
