University Senate elects leadership

University Senate elected 2020-21 leadership at its Sept. 3 meeting.

Cristina Oancea was elected the 2020-22 Vice Chair/Chair Elect.

Julia Zhao was elected to a two-year term as faculty representative on the Senate Executive Committee. Megan Wasylow was elected to a one-year term as Staff Senate representative and Matthew Ternus was elected to a one-year term as student representative on the Senate Executive Committee.

The Senate Executive Committee, which establishes the agenda for meetings of the University Senate and acts in the Senate’s place when necessary between Senate meetings, also includes Senate Chair Elizabeth Legerski; Senate Immediate Past Chair Jeffrey VanLooy; Faculty Representative Mark Dusenbury; Senate Secretary Scott Correll; Council of College Faculties Representative Tom Petros; and Interim Provost Debbie Storrs.
