Detours begin next week on Columbia Road project
Next week, contractors working for the City on the Columbia Road project will close the east half of the Columbia/University intersection. Traffic on Columbia Road will continue with one lane in each direction (north and south). Traffic on University Ave. will be detoured around the Columbia/University Ave. intersection via 6th Ave. North between Stanford Road and 25th St.
University Avenue between Stanford and Hamline will be open for local traffic only. I also attached a map showing the UND local traffic route (in green) that will be available for navigating through the center of campus.
