Remembering Dale Hagen
Dale G. Hagen, former Plant Services staff member, Grand Forks, died Sunday, July 25, 2021 at his home. He was 81.
Dale Grant Hagen was born June 4, 194,0 in East Grand Forks to Olaf and Caroline (Avron) Hagen. He attended school in East Grand Forks.
Dale worked at Concrete Sectional Culvert Co., in Grand Forks, and later at the University of North Dakota doing janitorial work.
Dale married Marjorie Hagen on March 30, 1961, in Grand Forks. Marjorie died Jan. 24, 2017. He loved fishing and his family.
Dale is survived by his sons, Mike (Bonnie) Hagen, and Todd Hagen, all of Grand Forks; sisters, Margaret Ann (Pat) Dillon, Centuria, WI, Mary Lou Lunski of Grand Forks, ND, Dorothy Mae Koch and Carol Jean Desrosier, both of St. Croix Falls, WI, Linda Kay Hagen and Darlene Lepak, both of Grand Forks, ND; a brother Lloyd Arthur Hagen of Grand Forks, ND; sister in law, Sandra Mae Jensen (wife of Berdell), of Loveland, CO; twenty seven nieces and nephews and sixty plus great nieces and nephews.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Berdell “Buck” Hagen, and David Hagen; sisters-in-law, Joyce Hagen (Lloyd) and Margie Mae Hagen (Dale); brothers-in-law, David Lunski (Mary), Larry Lepak (Darlene), and Layton Koch (Dorothy).
A private family interment will be held. Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks is in charge of arrangements.
