UND IT continues to install Cortex on UND-owned computers

The University Information Technology (UIT) department is continuing to deploy Palo Alto’s Cortex XDR to all UND-owned computers. This advanced protection software accurately detects threats with behavioral analytics and reveals the root cause to speed up investigations, enabling attacks to be stopped before damage is done to the device or sensitive data is compromised. The installation of the Cortex XDR software will result in little to no impact on users. However, you may notice a new icon for the software on your dock/menu bar.
