Not every UND event is going virtual this fall. The UND Fall Open House remains as in-person as ever, and prospective UND students and their families have signed up to attend.

The Fall Open House began last week, and photos of some of the talks, tours and other events that took place are featured on this page.

This week’s sessions will be held on Thursday, Oct. 22 and Friday, Oct. 23.

At the sessions, prospective students and their families are able to:

• Tour campus with current students
• Attend academic sessions presented by the individual colleges
• Visit a residence hall
• Learn what it’s like to be a UND student from current students
• Get their questions answered by an Admissions representative.

The walking tours typically leave from the Gorecki Alumni Center or the Chester Fritz Auditorium. The campus tour route typically takes visitors to Wilkerson Hall, Brannon Hall or Johnstone Hall, Gamble Hall, the Chester Fritz Library, O’Kelly Hall, the Education Building and Twamley Hall, among other buildings. Photo by Mike Hess/UND Today.

As one study concluded, “campus visitation — more specifically, the campus tour — is frequently cited as the most important aspect of the college recruitment process.” Photo by Mike Hess/UND Today.
