Musician, therapist and cancer survivor Christine Baze brings her message of pain, hope and prevention to an audience at UND Chester Fritz Auditorium on Tuesday, Oct. 18. Baze fought and survived invasive cervical cancer, a disease brought on by HPV, an extremely preventable virus if the vaccine is taken.

Mark Kennedy inaugurated as UND’s 12th president, sets bold course for future

President Kennedy visited the campus September 25, 1963. He received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree and presented a speech on the need to conserve natural resources. A crowd of 10,000 filled the UND Fieldhouse, and thousands more waited outside for a glimpse of the president. The UND seal is in the background.
