Website Improvement

Follow UND's website improvements.

We’re Listening

Any successful web redevelopment project starts with discovery. This important phase informs ALL decisions we’ll make throughout the project. This task doesn’t fall to one person; rather we’re gathering input from several members of the UND community.

What We’re Discovering
The purpose of the discovery phase is to:

  1. Determine how to tell UND’s story on the website in a compelling and impactful way.
  2. Learn what aspects of the current site are working well and what new functions are required.
  3. Understand the current landscape of web content management at UND in terms of people, policies and procedures.
  4. Devise a strategy for marketing academic programs on the website without creating redundant content.

Gathering Data

mStoner will be on campus February 27–28, 2017 to facilitate on-campus meetings with several stakeholders. Additional meetings will be conducted via web conferencing throughout February and March. Individual invitations will be sent as soon as dates and participants are identified.

Sharing Discoveries

An onsite web workshop will be will be held in mid-March where mStoner will present its findings and ensure alignment with the UND team. Members of the UND Marketing Council will be invited to attend this workshop and materials will be shared through this blog.

Discovery consists not in seeking new lands but in seeing with new eyes. – Marcel Proust
