November 2019

Wellness Spotlight

November is Men's Health Awareness Month and is used to support efforts to tackle prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide. These health concerns can include challenges in a man's personal relationships, sex life, work and mental health if not diagnosed/treated in a timely manner by a physician. Our November Wellness Spotlight will talk more in depth about Movember, the movement created to change the face of men's health and provide men with happier, healthier lives.

What's Happening?!

The 2019 UND United Way campaign kicks off October 21 and will run through November 8. This year's theme for the Greater Grand Forks campaign is Neighbors Helping Neighbors.  Please participate in this year's UND campaign and help your neighbors in our community. Watch the 2019 campaign video HERE.

This campaign is about taking a few moments from your day to focus on what you have rather than what's missing. These are often overlooked in our day-to-day lives. Gratitude encourages you to pay attention to normal occurrences or interactions you normally take for granted.

We encourage you to comment and interact with our social media campaign using the hashtag #gratefulUND.

Zen in 10 focuses on stretching, breathing and having fun with coworkers. Go back to work with less stress, more energy and better body functioning. Services provided by Kay Williams, Certified Yoga and Relax and Renew Instructor. FREE and open to the Campus! FLYER

The UND Rock Wall will be open to the Campus and public for climbing with No Membership required! Children of all ages (we have harnesses for toddlers/small children, fit not guaranteed) will be able to visit and climb the Rock Wall.
