Don't hibernate this winter season!

There is no denying winter is here! For some people winter is a breeze and others question why their belts may be fitting a little too tight. Food consumption, darkness, and winter festivities can all play a roll in winter weight gain, fatigue, and lack of motivation. 

The Winter Wellness Challenge can help fight the winter struggles! Moving more, getting vitamin D, eating home-cooked meals, and setting goals before the new year are some techniques that can be used. For more information about how to avoid hibernation look here

What IS Winter Wellness?

The University of North Dakota and Altru have launched a partnership to bring together ideas, resources and opportunities to promote health and wellness across our organizations and the larger community. 


The Winter Wellness Challenge is one of our first collaborations created to encourage and promote lifelong wellbeing. We are excited for you to participate in our inaugural program!

Winter Wellness runs December 2 - December 13.
