WHY HYDRATE?

Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, mental cognition, and overall mood.

HOW MUCH DO I NEED TO DRINK?

Hydration needs vary based on gender and body composition. Some water loss is inevitable throughout the day, in general adults should consume at least 64 ounces of water daily. 

• Men should have an average of 121 ounces of total water daily (that’s 97 ounces from drinking fluids)

• Women should consume an average of 91 ounces (73 ounces from zero calorie beverages).

According to the CDC, daily fluid intake can come from food and beverage…80% from drinking water and other beverages, 20% from food consumption.

Remember: For each increment of 8 ounces, a 'filled' water glass will appear. A total of 64 ounces each day is needed to be eligible for prize drawings. The old Work Well water bottle holds around 20 ounces, new Work Well water bottle holds 32 ounces.

Our NEW Work Well water bottles will be sent out to participants who indicate they need one on the pre-assessment (while supplies last)!
