Why Bike?

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), getting regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health! It can help control weight, reduce the risk of chronic diseases, and improve your mental health and mood. It is recommended to achieve a minimum of 150 minutes a week of physical activity.

That's where the bicycles come in! Biking is a simple way to help reach the CDC's goal of at least 150 minutes of physical activity per week. It's easy on the joints and environmentally friendly! Challenge a co-worker or your department to get those wheels moving!!

Let's Get Rollin'

Time to get those bikes out! Register for the BIKE IT Challenge today by logging in HERE. Jump on a stationary bike or get outside and enjoy the fresh air with a free-standing bicycle.  Every time you bike, you earn points. 

Every 30 minutes of 5+ miles of biking you complete, you receive 10 points. Wear a helmet and make an easy 5 more points! Earn 100 points and claim your very own, fabulous, one-of-a-kind, brand-new, soft-to-the-touch Work Well T-Shirt.  Make it all the way to 200 points and be entered for a chance to win a Trek Verve 1 Disc Bike from SCHEELSBONUS!! Every day you ride your bike TO/AT work (home), you get 10 extra points!
