About this course
Engineering or energy projects have their own unique set of needs and challenges. Project managers and the business need to understand these challenges and be ready to respond, as necessary. This summer, learn or refresh your knowledge on how to manage energy/engineering projects effectively by enrolling in ENGR 554: Applied Project Management. The course simplifies how to deploy project management tools and techniques differently, with serious considerations and emphasis on stakeholder behavior analysis and management. It also includes the technical components and business risks analysis that are the leading factors that determines the successes or failures of most engineering projects today. This is taught in partnership with Project Management Institute (PMI® ) and considers both Waterfall and Agile in managing new and existing projects with special considerations for technical product development. Tests and quizzes contain highly realistic PMP 7th Edition scenario-based exam type questions to prepare for the PMP®/CAPM® exam. Get familiar with all the necessary knowledge and skills you’ll need to function or continue to function as the project professional you wish to be but most importantly get all you need to pass the PMP®/CAPM® exam in one sitting.
