Many years ago, this blog had a semi-regular post called “Getting to Know You”. It has been decided that it is time to bring these posts back! This month, we are talking with the Research Skills Instruction Coordinator and one of our impressive reference librarians.
In 1988, National Hispanic Heritage Month was enacted into law under President Ronald Reagan. September 15 – October 15 is an opportunity to celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. Celebrate by checking out our prior recommendations and this year’s new favorites.
With school back in session, we wanted to highlight a few resources that promote wellness and advocate for mental health. The Chester Fritz Library has a selection of books and videos that discuss mental health topics. The start of a new semester brings up many feelings and emotions and keep in mind that the University provides many resources and services to support you in your wellness journey.
