The Chester Fritz Library will be hosting a movie double feature on Monday, October 21! Come at 7:00 PM for Hocus Pocus, Disney’s campy comedy of Salem witches resurrected on Halloween night. Then stick around or show up at 9:00 PM for The Nightmare Before Christmas, the stop-motion animated classic about the misguided attempt by Halloween monsters to celebrate Christmas. Whether you attend or not, we have plenty of horror movies in our collection to keep you spooked through Halloween night!

The Chester Fritz Library will be hosting a movie night on Monday, September 16 showing Encanto, If “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and those mysterious yellow butterflies caught your imagination, we have many other Disney movies and films from across Latin America!

Summer is nigh! Distract yourself from the rising temperatures with a movie set somewhere even hotter: Florida, the Australian Outback, or a cramped submarine. All these films and more can be found on the display stand on the third floor of the Chester Fritz Library.

With the seasons changing in Grand Forks, why not borrow a movie about the metaphorical change in life’s seasons? We have pulled together some of the library’s films about childhood, adolescence, and growing up.
