Directed by Joachim Roenning and Espen Sandberg, the film dramatizes the exploits of the eponymous Norwegian resistance operative. Despite an almost complete lack of formal education, Manus (played by Aksel Hennie) bands together with other Norwegians outraged by German occupation during World War II and makes multiple escapes from captivity whilst performing acts of sabotage. Besides <em>Max Manus<\/em>, we will be displaying other movies from Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. When the dorm master (Kristoffer Joner) proves responsible for a boy&#8217;s death, Erling leads his comrades in a rebellion that will prompt a response from no less than the Norwegian Army.
