2023 Morrison Leadership Summit

On October 4, 2023, the Nistler College of Business and Public Administration hosted the 11th annual Morrison Leadership Summit, in honor of UND alumnus Dale Morrison. 

The event started with roundtable discussions where students were able to have in depth conversations about leadership with various community leaders who donated their time in order to participate in this event. Table leaders included Tom Astrup, Lacey Fetsch, Michelle Schumacher, Svea Benefield, Landon Bahl, Dr. Dennis J. Elbert, Nancy Pederson, Cassie Bowers, and Kathy Lund.

After students had the opportunity to make connections with great leaders in the community, they were then led to the Barry Auditorium for a lunch and conversation with their respective table leaders. Following the lunch, students listened to a Keynote Presentation on “Leadership, Visioning, and Spatial Awareness” by Phil Gisi, Founder and Chairman/CEO of Edgewood Group in Grand Forks, ND.

After this great presentation and Q&A session, we honored and remembered the leadership and impact made by the late Dale Morrison to the University of North Dakota. He will continue to hold a legacy of leadership in the Nistler College.
