The Pancratz Career Development Center Closet Blowout Fall & Spring Events

Located in the Pancratz Career Development Center, the Freeman Professional Closet serves as a useful resource for Nistler College of Business & Public Administration students. Nistler College of Business & Public Administration students can utilize the closet to find professional clothing to wear to interviews, internships, career fairs, etc. Students are allowed to keep 2 items + 1 accessory each semester, all at no cost. In addition to having access to this resource all year long, the Pancratz Career Development Center also hosts Closet Blowout Events during the fall and spring semester. A Closet Blowout Event, is essentially exactly what it sounds like! It’s a time to clean out the closet, and Nistler College of Business & Public Administration students are the ones who are able to benefit from it. Students can take an additional 3 items and 1 accessory at these events regardless of prior closet appointments for the semester.

Where do the Freeman Professional Closet Blowout Events take place?

The Pancratz Center brings their entire closet inventory to a classroom in the Nistler College where they host the event each semester for students. Here, students are able to look and sort through the clothing, similar to what you might think of as a garage sale. All items at the Closet Blowout Events are completely free to students. In addition to getting free clothing, students that attended also have the chance to win prizes. The Pancratz Center had several prizes donated by local businesses to giveaway at the event this spring. Overall, there was a great turnout of students that attended the event and we look forward to hosting more events like this in the future.
