New Director for the Veterans Business Outreach Center of the Dakotas
The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) of the Dakotas welcomes Michael Danielson as the new program director, leading support for service members, veterans, and military spouses in entrepreneurship across North and South Dakota.

About Michael Danielson
Danielson is a U.S. Air Force veteran with over 20 years of experience in active-duty military service and federal civilian roles. He has extensive experience in leadership, program management, and supervision, and is deeply committed to supporting veterans. Additionally, his family has owned and operated a small business for 12 years.
Danielson’s Strategic Insight and Passion for the VBOC of the Dakotas
“Michael’s unique combination of active-duty military service and federal civilian expertise, combined with his entrepreneurial endeavors, brings strategic insight and practical know-how to our program,” said Tiffany Ford, director of the Center for Business Engagement & Development. “We are excited to have Michael on the team, driving the VBOC of the Dakotas program into the future, with renewed energy, ideas, and passion.”
In his role as director, Danielson will drive the organization’s mission by implementing cutting-edge workshops, webinars, and training programs tailored to support the entrepreneurial endeavors of veterans and military spouses. He is committed to providing cost-free business advising, training, and linking individuals with resources to assist them in initiating or expanding their businesses.
“I’m excited to use my unique background of military service and family small business ownership to further the Veterans Business Outreach Center of the Dakota’s mission,” said Danielson. “Transitioning from military to civilian life is very difficult for most veterans and my primary goal in this position is to leverage my background to provide valuable support and create effective solutions that make the journey easier for those who have served.”
