It’s not too late to apply for financial aid

If your student missed the February 1 priority deadline for filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, it’s not too late to jump on it today.

The FAFSA is the magical online form that sets the foundation for determining a number of state, federal and institutional monetary awards. All a student must do to get a crack at a piece of the financial aid pie is fill out the FAFSA form and enter UND’s federal code 003005.

UND awards nearly $7.8 million in financial aid each year, but the money doesn’t last forever. The sooner your student files, the better his or her chances.

New freshmen who already submitted their FAFSA forms were notified of awards beginning in December. Students can learn how to accept their awards by reviewing the step-by-step instructions on our Financial Aid Guide.
