Director’s Corner welcome

Greetings! Excitement is in the air as thousands of students populate our campus once again with laughter and unbridled enthusiasm. It’s going to be another great year!

Today, you can read about how this year’s fall class is breaking new enrollment records in diversity and college preparedness.

Work is winding down on improvements to University Avenue, while things are ramping up with work on the Memorial Union and the Chester Fritz Library.

Also this fall, we’re welcoming other brand-new changes. Just last month, UND introduced the Common App, an online tool that allows prospective students from everywhere to easily tap into valuable information about UND.

You’re invited to experience UND at our Fall Open House Oct. 17-18. There, students will get an overview of admissions, scholarships, academic programs and life as a Fighting Hawk. Plus, eight lucky students will have the chance to win a $1,000 scholarship for their first semester at UND!
