Get on the right track during the New Student Transition

Your student can begin their transition to UND starting on Feb. 1 at 9 a.m. (CST), when registration officially opens. In this process, your student will sign up to be advised and registered virtually, and will also reserve their spot to attend an on-campus orientation between July 14-24.

If your student hasn’t t already done so, they will first need to pay the Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (a $200 nonrefundable deposit that applies to charges on their UND bill). It must be paid at least two business days before making reservations, which begin on Feb. 1.

During the course registration process, your student will connect virtually with an academic advisor for assistance and register online for their first semester of classes.

At the on-campus UND Orientation Days, your student will learn about student services, financial aid, housing and more. Lunch and walking tours are also part of the day.
