Honors Program Creates New Leadership Track
The University Honors Program combines the love of learning with the desire to positively impact the world. With Honors, your students will be part of a stimulating learning program that emphasizes a close-knit community, active learning and preparing for the future.
And there’s no better time for your students to join the program! Starting in Fall 2018, Honors students will choose from two distinct tracks that give more flexibility to pursue what they’re passionate about.
The two tracks focus on:
- Students who want to be leaders in their community. This track offers the chance for hands-on service learning experiences, making connections with the region’s movers and shakers, and networking with community leaders.
- Students looking to enter graduate or medical school. This track is for students looking to pursue graduate, medical or law school and want coursework and mentoring that will help them get accepted to top schools.
No matter which track your students choose, they’ll have the benefit of priority registration each semester, as well as opportunities to study abroad, become Honors Ambassadors and live in a Living & Learning Community with other Honors students.
