Future Fighting Hawks can do fly-by at Fall Open House

High school students have seen the postcards. They’ve read the brochures. They maybe even talked to a visiting recruiter.

Well, pictures and talk are great, but experiencing UND in person is even better.

Future Fighting Hawks who come to the UND Fall Open House set for Thursday, Oct. 18, or Friday, Oct. 19, will get a real taste of college life at UND. They will see where they’ll live, where they’ll eat and where they’ll study. Plus, eight lucky students will win a $1,000 waiver for their first semester’s tuition.

And while here on campus, they’ll be able to learn more about UND’s world-class academic programs by attending up to two sessions that interest them most. They will meet faculty and current students, take a one-hour walking tour and get a chance to check out UND’s state-of-the-art Wellness Center.

After all that, they might be hungry. Not to worry. We’ll treat them to lunch in one of our premier dining centers. (Be forewarned: Everything looks good.) And an extra bonus: On this day, Mom or Dad can bombard someone else with the questions. Tell your students to complete their registration today.
