UND transitioning back to normal operations in the fall

We have exciting news for your students. UND is working to transition back to normal operations for fall 2021! The residence halls once again will allow roommates this fall, so your students will be able to take advantage of the traditional college experience while being close to their classes and everything else. The majority of classes are planned to offered in-person. Some courses will be offered as online or hybrid. If hybrid, the professor will be in the classroom and students have the choice of attending in person or virtually. Student life will be back to normal with student organizations, activities and athletic events held in person.

You don’t want your students to miss out on their top residence hall choices! Let them know to apply by the May 1 priority deadline to be included in the first round of room selections. Here are just some of the brand-new spaces they can look forward to seeing soon:

  • Major renovations are planned to begin this summer on several UND residence halls. So, they might get an updated room as soon as their sophomore year.
  • This fall, they’ll be able to meet friends to study, eat or just chill fireside in the brand-new Memorial Union. The student-supported space is pretty spectacular. So, go ahead and take a sneak peek yourself.
  • Another hot spot they’ll want to check out right away is the completely updated Chester Fritz Library, which offers a variety of individual and group study spaces.

If your students have any questions about housing, we’d love to help! Reach the UND Housing Office at 701.777.4251 or housing@UND.edu.
