Fair and Open Competition in Public Procurement

Last week, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) spoke with State attorneys, grants officers and procurement employees regarding the importance of antitrust laws and our roles in enforcement of these laws.  This DOJ Antitrust Presentation contains examples of bid rigging and price fixing in public procurement, the cost associated with these illegal activities, sources of investigative leads, and penalties.
