National Athletic Training Month events in March

In honor of National Athletic Training Month in March, the UND Student Athletic Trainers’ Organization will host the following events to help raise money for North Dakota Special Olympics (NDSO) and the group’s upcoming trip to Tulsa, Okla., for the District 5 Annual Meeting.

Healthcare Clash Volleyball Tournament:  Open to all, this team event will be held on Saturday, March 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the UND Wellness Center. We are welcoming some friendly, interprofessional competition to help raise money for NDSO. A team of physical therapy students dominated in dodgeball last year, but who’s going to show they have what it takes on the volleyball court? Team registration is open until March 21 here. Faculty, staff, and students can sign-up; the registration fee is $40 per team.

Athletic Training Night at Crooked Pint: Help celebrate National Athletic Training Month by coming out to Crooked Pint on Monday, March 25. Crooked Pint will donate 15 percent of your bill to the Student Athletic Trainer’s Organization. Dine-in only from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
