Dustin Nowotny to give Surgery Grand Rounds talk on student loan debt April 12

Dustin Nowotny, DO, a PGY-II resident in the UND Department of Surgery, will present a (non-CME-approved) talk entitled “Conquering the Mountain of Student Loan Debt” at Sanford Health – Broadway in Fargo, N.D., from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019. All are welcome to attend.

The objectives of his talk are:

  • Identify the average amount of medical student debt
  • List the different repayment plans for federal loans
  • Name the requirements for PSLF
  • Calculate your monthly payment in REPAYE plan
