Nominations sought for Meritorious Service, UND Proud awards

The UND Department of Human Resources is seeking nominations of faculty and staff for a pair of annual awards.

A total of ten $1,000 Meritorious Service Awards will recognize individuals who best reflect honor upon the University and the community through a combination of the employee job performance, relationship with associates, and ability to relate their work to the mission and values of the University.

Likewise, the Ken and Toby Baker UND Proud Award of $1,000 will be presented to a UND staff employee who, through extraordinary public service, has made lasting contributions to the external community, over and above the expectations of his or her regular University position.

All UND regular staff employees not in a probationary period are eligible for nomination, with the exception of the president, vice presidents, deans, associate and assistant deans, teaching and research faculty, the director of human resources and payroll services, and award winners from the previous seven years. Nominations may be submitted by any UND faculty, staff, or student.

Please submit your nominations for 2019 Meritorious Service and Baker UND Proud Nominations no later than 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 19. The forms can be found on the UND Human Resources “Forms” webpage or here.
